3/6 PM

Mike is just back from a CT scan and the neurosurgeon came by to let us know that there is no more swelling and he just may, may be able to see a 4th ventricle. That would mean things have peaked and swelling is on its way down. He says we have every reason to be guardedly optimistic.

I know that a few Jewish prayers couldn't hurt either. We love you and hope for increasingly good news. Anita and Rich Fricklas

While we're on the topic of prayers .... I've got a swack of Canadians (of various religions) sending their best. Nice to hear some good news tonight. We really appreciate all the updates and are anxiously awaiting more. Love to you all.

Mike: I just saw you on 2G! Yikes...things can change fast. What seems normal can change in an instant. I am so sorry for what has occurred to you (and your family) but you are in a great place to get through this. I am looking forward to our hallway conversations. Caitlin, I am one of the cardiologists working with Mike at PPMC. I so much appreciate your letting me and "us" know what is going on. My thoughts are with Mike, you, and family.

Add in all my Quaker relatives praying for Mike...you won't hear their prayers (they're silent) but a force none the less. Much love & support...anxiously waiting for more news. Mindy & Gavin
