Hurrah! We are reading along here everyday and thinking hopeful thoughts. Sending hugs up from the Bay Area. Wish we lived closer. With much love and admiration -- Rebecca, Ethan, Cora and Toby
That is FANTASTIC news! I am sure that the relief can be felt throughout the greater Portland area. Very exciting indeed. Once again, thank you so much for keeping all of us "out there" up to date.
Fantastic news!!! Must have been all that laughing Mike did yesterday. We follow your blog everyday, Caitlin you are amazing. Thank you for keeping us all in the loop. It has to be all down hill from here. Love and positive thoughts to all.
Caitlin, Great news! I hope that he will be well enough soon to come to inpatient rehab on 4K at PPMC (or better yet, home!!!). You have been in our prayers, Tracy Sax TOC Neurology
Oh you guys, I am so pleased! I knew this was going to happen. Myself, Brian, Gordon and Cecil and so happy for you all. I apologize for my lame comments last night.....I was anticipating a renovation day on Hornby with Gordon.....one of those 'two(maybe more? ) merlot emails. The bathroom is spectacular (no bigger, but heh, that's Hornby!) I will send pics when I get them. I have 4 tickets for the Blues Festival, ...sounds like good therapy to me, -no? Brian and I are going to be on another little cruise during May, so.........think about it. Much love Caitlin and of course Mike. Barbara
Such good news Caitlin! I anxiously await updates with the rest of them. What would we do without modern technology? I hope you can feel all the love, prayers, and positive energy down there.
More love from Canada, Sandi, Manfred, Katia & Natasha
P.S. Katia and Amelia would make great roommates, they have similar palates!:)
Woohoo. Welcome back!! On balance, I'm sure Mike had some extra skull to spare, and I'm sure it won't be long before he's running on all pistons. So relieved he is coming around. We are thinking of you all every day and look forward to seeing you soon. On a frightening note, I was shocked to read that (the other) Noah has turned 13. Ugghh. Much Love. Noah
What wonderful news! Things seem very good indeed! Deniz and I want you and Mike to know that we are rooting for you and admire you both tremendously! Sylvia, Deniz, Alara, and Maya
PS.(did you know Winston's age is right between Alara an Maya's??? rather convienient for some play time--don't you think??!!)

Sounds like a day for celebration. He might even be ready for green beer on the 17th at this rate!

I'm so grateful! But I wish I was there. Being one of the "remote concerned parties" is just as difficult as we speculated.
Tell Mike I love him, and I love you too.
Extubation is great news! Tell Mike we are rooting for him! Kat, Aneesh & Amara
